In the riotous downfall of civilization that progressively took place over the 21st and 22nd centuries, city state blocks are separated into territories and defended by suburban inhabitants. One community's stability is put at risk when Mayson Jane, a revered Guardian, violates protocol to induct her daughter into privileged secrets, to provide the only chance either one may ever have for escape.

Heather Laubenstein is a visual and theatre artist, educator, and freelance director who trained at Rosebud School of the Arts and currently serves as the Theatre Arts Associate at Youth Singers of Calgary. She teaches with various schools and organizations around Calgary where she creates/directs devised
work. Her upcoming directing project This Random World has been rescheduled for Fire Exit Theatre’s 2021 season.

Krista Marushy is an actor, playwright and educator currently residing in Calgary, AB. She holds an M.F.A. in Playwriting from the Playwrights’ Lab at Hollins University and currently teaches at Ambrose University. Her play The Green House won the 2019 Scripts on Fire competition and was workshopped with Fire Exit Theatre in May of 2019. Her short screenplay, The Culling Ground (Naked Thieves Creative Collective/Slanting Productions) will be distributed by Vestra Pictures in October, 2020.
Krista Marushy
Writer
Jeany is a resident actor and instructor with Rosebud Theatre and Rosebud School of the Arts. She has also voiced several commercial and corporate spots for radio, television, video games and training videos. Jeany loves storytelling in all its derivations, but most of her experience has been as an actor in live theatre. She is also a playwright, director and sometimes set and costume designer. Most recently she directed Babette’s Feast for Fire Exit Theatre and is currently directing Vern Thiessen’s Bluebirds.
Morgan Hayley Smith is a Calgary-born voice, film and television actor and graduate of the Vancouver Film School. Before relocating to Alberta, Morgan was nominated for Vancouver’s CTC award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role of Anne in Fighting Chance Productions’ Diary of Anne Frank. An avid podcast enthusiast, Morgan is thrilled to be lending her voice to Jupiter Theatre’s (exp)lore podcast.
